At Cocoro, Japanese for ‘heart and soul’, we serve contemporary Japanese cuisine in an old brick building nestled just off Auckland's lively Ponsonby Road. Each visit to Cocoro is ichigo ichie, a bespoke culinary experience.

RESERVATIONS
We recommend our degustation courses as they showcase the heart and soul of the restaurant. These menus are designed for the whole table to enjoy and require an evening reservation.
We also take a limited number of reservations for á la carte. Lunch is á la carte only.
Choose to be seated at one of our individual tables or side by side at our solid timber communal table, where seating is carefully considered to provide you space amongst other diners.

Cocoro is available for functions on Sundays and Mondays. Email us to discuss your event.
A credit card hold is required per person for reservations. Funds will be verified but not charged to your card at the time of reservation but please understand that we require 24 hours for cancellation. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur cancellation fee subjected to our cancellation policy.

Known as “jewellery box sushi” in Japan, enjoy a premium selection of bite-sized sashimi on a bed of sushi rice. Perfect for one person as a main or shared between two as a side.
Dependent on availability but usually includes salmon, tuna, kingfish, snapper, prawn, squid, octopus, kina, wagyu, egg, ikura.

Individually numbered PDF voucher will be sent to your via email within 24 hours. This can be printed out for use as a physical voucher, or can be shown at payment from your device.
